We have discussed about computer (in isolation) in our previous classes and it now time to look into the concept of computer system. But before that we need to look into the term system (in isolation).
From biology point of view, we have digestive system, circulatory system, transport system, nervous system, respiratory system..., the term system is not limited to biology but also entails other aspect of life especially in organisations & settings whatsoever case it may be; another example is our solar system which entails how our universe was divinely & scientifically organized. So, it apply for computer as a concept.
Related words/meaningful keywords from the dictionary - complex, (inter)-connected, (inter)-related, set, group, organized, well-planned, orderliness, arrangements, collections, work together, functional, specific action.
These are the words/phrases that connotes the word "system", bringing this term into the computer realm, here is my own submission about computer system.
Computer system is the collection of entities (software, hardware, userware) that are designed in order to interact together to receive, process, manage, store and present data or information (as meaningful format).
